Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has demanded government accommodation for party convenor Arvind Kejriwal from the central government. AAP leader Raghav Chadha has demanded accommodation for Kejriwal citing the rules of the Election Commission. He has said that without delay, government accommodation should be given to the national convenor of the national party AAP, Arvind Kejriwal.

Raghav Chadha said, 'Under the rules of the Election Commission, any national party is given two resources. In which the first is the national office. Apart from this, the national convenor of a national-level party is also given a government residence. Therefore, we demand from the central government that national convenor Arvind Kejriwal should get a government residence.'

Before becoming the Chief Minister of Delhi for the first time in December 2013, Kejriwal lived in the Kaushambi area of Ghaziabad. As Chief Minister, he lived in a house in Tilak Lane in central Delhi. After the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) came to power with a huge majority in the February 2015 assembly elections, he moved to a residence at 6, Flagstaff Road in Civil Lines area of North Delhi.

Let us tell you that Arvind Kejriwal resigned from the post of Chief Minister of Delhi on 17 September. After Kejriwal's resignation, the Aam Aadmi Party's legislative party elected Atishi as the new Chief Minister of Delhi. Kejriwal submitted his resignation to Delhi's Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena. Along with this, Atishi also submitted a letter to the LG staking claim to form the new government. The Lieutenant Governor sent the resignation and the letter to the President. Although Atishi did not ask for any date for the swearing-in, but the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi proposed September 21 as the date for the swearing-in of the new Chief Minister. That is, Atishi can take oath as the new CM of Delhi tomorrow.

After the announcement of her name, Atishi said that she would remain the CM till the upcoming elections and when the AAP government is formed again, Kejriwal will become the CM. Atishi also said that till the next elections, I have only two tasks. First, 'to protect the people of Delhi from the conspiracy of BJP'. Second- 'Make Kejriwal the CM again.'
