500 Wedding Guests Fall Ill After Consuming Stale Rasmalai in Madhya Pradesh

Eating Rasmalai at a wedding ceremony on Saturday (April 19) in Mandsaur district of Madhya Pradesh proved costly. 500 people fell ill after eating food at this ceremony organized in Fatehgarh village. 125 people were admitted to school and treatment was started. Doctors said that food poisoning has occurred due to eating stale Rasmalai at the wedding.

There was a stir in Fatehgarh village of Mandsaur due to so many people suddenly falling ill. Local people informed the administrative officers. After which the medical team of the district hospital reached the village and converted the government school there into a temporary hospital and started treating the people. After treatment, everyone's condition is improving.

On receiving information about the incident, MP Sudhir Gupta and MLA Vipin Jain also reached the village. Expressing displeasure at the CMHO, the MP said, despite such a big incident, the general public did not reach the spot. A large number of women, men and children attended this wedding ceremony organized in Fatehgarh village, but after eating food on Saturday afternoon, they started vomiting and having diarrhea.

Mandsaur MP Sudhir Gupta shared pictures of patients lying in school on his X handle and wrote- Information was received that 500 people fell sick after consuming contaminated food during a wedding function in Fatehgarh village of Mandsaur assembly, after which I immediately reached Fatehgarh and met the sick people and inquired about their health.

MLA Vipin Jain reached Fatehgarh with a medical team from the district hospital. Here the school has been converted into a temporary hospital. After about two hours of treatment, the condition of most of the people has improved. MP Sudhir Gupta expressed displeasure over the non-arrival of CMHO and senior doctors. Said, provide necessary medical facilities immediately.
