Working in one place for hours has the greatest impact on our spine. Nowadays, people are suffering from back and waist pain at a young age. Due to wrong posture, the spine can become crooked, due to which not only the back and waist, but also the neck and surrounding muscles start feeling strain and tension. This also causes problems in everyday tasks and sometimes severe pain is felt as soon as one wakes up in the morning. Let us know some easy and effective home remedies that can be helpful in relieving spine and waist pain.

Home remedies to get relief from spine and waist pain:

1. Take calcium-rich diet

Include as many calcium-rich things as possible in your diet. Such as – milk, curd, cheese etc. dairy products. Milk contains plenty of calcium, which strengthens the bones and also relaxes the muscles. Drinking milk mixed with honey is even more beneficial.

2. Consume fenugreek

Consuming fenugreek seeds can be beneficial in spinal pain. Vitamin A, C, calcium, magnesium and potassium present in it help reduce pain. Soak one teaspoon of fenugreek in a glass of water at night and drink it lukewarm in the morning. If you want, you can also chew fenugreek seeds and eat them.

3. Adopt a diet rich in vitamin C

Vitamin C helps in maintaining bone health and also helps in the absorption of calcium. For this, include things like amla, lemon, orange, tomato, guava, grapes, apple, banana in your diet. Also consume spinach, coriander, turnip, radish leaves and mint.

4. Drink adequate amount of water

An increased level of uric acid in the body can also cause spinal pain. To avoid this, drink at least 10-12 glasses of water throughout the day. This detoxifies the body and gives relief from pain.

5. Massage with mustard oil containing garlic

To get instant relief from back and joint pain, heat mustard oil by adding garlic cloves. You can also add a little celery to it. When the oil cools down, massage the waist and back slowly with it. This will give relief to the muscles and reduce pain.
