Mixture of honey and ginger: A mixture of ginger and honey is effective in reducing cough. Honey has natural antibacterial properties, which soothe the irritated throat. Mix fresh ginger juice in a teaspoon of honey and give it to the child, it will reduce cough.
Decoction of basil and ginger: Decoction of basil leaves and ginger is very effective in treating cough. It destroys cold and cough bacteria and provides relief to the throat. Boil basil and ginger in a cup of water, then give it to the child when it cools down.
