What is Chandipura virus?

Severe cases of this disease have shown mortality rates ranging from 56% to 75%.

Chandipura virus disease often begins with high fever. Apart from this, the affected person experiences symptoms like seizures, diarrhea and vomiting after fever. In such a situation, if there is less awareness about this, it can cause death.
