Whether the weight is excessive or less, it can be reduced by dieting. But, often people start panicking on hearing the name of dieting. They think that dieting will be difficult for them and they will not be able to buy those expensive food items which lead to fat loss. If you also think the same, then it is completely wrong. If the common things of the house are eaten properly, at the right time and in the right quantity, then weight can be reduced. Here is such a Desi Diet Plan which helps in reducing weight.

Drink detox water in the morning

Whenever you wake up in the morning, drink detox water after brushing. You can drink different types of detox water, such as cumin water, carom seeds water, fennel water or water made by adding lemon and honey to plain water. To make cumin, carom seeds or fennel water, you have to add only half a teaspoon of these spices in a glass of water.

Breakfast should be like this

Have breakfast one to one and a half hours after drinking detox water. You can eat poha, upma or cheela for breakfast. While making these things, try to add as many vegetables as possible. You can also eat vegetable-stuffed paratha made in light ghee.

Mid Meal

Have your mid-meal around 10:30 to 11:00. In the mid meal you can eat apple, guava or green tea and makhana. Apart from this, eat any seasonal fruit. Most fruits are rich in fiber and help in weight loss.

Everything Desi in Lunch

Have your lunch between 12:30 and 1:30. In lunch you can have 2 rotis, any green vegetable and salad. This quantity is sufficient for the age group of 10 to 27. Apart from this, you can also eat 1 roti, one vegetable, one dal and salad.

Evening Snack

In the evening you can have tea and 3 to 4 biscuits. If you are fond of tea, then you can also eat diet namkeen or makhana with a cup of tea.

Dinner

Try to have a lighter dinner, the better. In such a situation, one can eat a bowl of Daliya or Moong Dal Khichdi or Oats. It is also good to make 2 Cheelas and eat them.

This diet plan can be followed for a week. After this, weight can be reduced by eating similar light food.

Keep these things in mind-

  • Drink lukewarm water 20 minutes after taking any meal.
  • Eat dinner by 8 pm and eat something only after 8 am the next morning.
  • This keeps the body in a state of intermittent fasting and weight starts decreasing.
  • Walk for a while after taking the meal.
  • Walking will make a difference in weight.
  • Do walk for an hour throughout the day.
  • You can also walk inside the house.
  • Take care of the quantity of food.
  • Do not eat more than required.
  • If you want, you can eat something outside in any one meal once a week.
