The winners of the 70th National Film Awards have been announced. Rishab Shetty won the Best Actor award for his blockbuster film 'Kantara'. Apart from this, 'Kantara' has also received the award for the Best Popular Film Providing Complete Entertainment.

Now after this huge success, the lead actor of the film Rishab Shetty is very excited and has expressed his happiness over his victory. He has given the credit for this victory to his audience. He also said that the support of the fans makes him feel responsible.

Rishab Shetty has shared a special message for his fans. He says, “I am pleased to receive the honour of the National Award for 'Kantara'. I thank from my heart all those who were a part of this journey, the team of excellent artists, the team of technicians and especially Hombale Films. Rishabh Shetty's 'Kantara' is streaming on Amazon Prime Video in its original language Kannada as well as dubbed versions in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. The Hindi dubbed version is available on Netflix. The story of the film 'Kantara' is based on the mythological saga of the coastal region of Karnataka. This 200-year-old story is a story of murder, revenge and justice. A young tribal avenges the death of his grandfather and brings justice to the entire society. During this, a glimpse of a classical tribal dance of Karnataka is also seen. The tribal community shown in the film is the protector of the forests and conveys the message of staying connected with nature to the people.
