The actress told, "I am very emotional about my entire journey outside India in the year 2000 and now exactly in 2024 I am here and I am very happy. I don't know how to express it, I am emotional. When the flight landed or before the flight landed, I was looking my left and right. I saw my country from above after years and that time was special for me, I was emotional. There were tears in my eyes. When I set my foot on the International Mumbai Airport, I was overwhelmed. However, the actress has not revealed the reason behind her coming to India.

Mamta made her debut with the 1992 film 'Tirangaa'. She was awarded the Filmfare for the 1993 film 'Aashiq Awara'. After some time, suddenly this stardom, this fame all started turning away and the life of this amazing actress fell from riches to rags.
