Reliance Infrastructure said in a notice to the stock market exchanges on Thursday that an exceptional profit of Rs 3575.27 crore, including profit on debt settlement and Rs 80.97 crore received due to arbitration claim, helped in increasing its profit in the September quarter.
However, the company's revenue saw a slight decline in the second quarter. In the July-September quarter of the current financial year, the company generated a revenue of Rs 7345.96 crore, which was Rs 7373.49 crore in the second quarter of the last financial year. The company's expenditure also came down to Rs 6450.38 crore in the September quarter, which was Rs 7100.66 crore in the same quarter a year ago. On Thursday, the company's shares also saw a good rise. Yesterday, Reliance Infra shares closed at Rs 258.40 on the BSE with a gain of Rs 8.30 (3.32%). During trading on Thursday, the company's shares reached an intraday low of Rs 242.25 to an intraday high of Rs 261.70. Reliance Infra shares have a 52-week high of Rs 350.90 and a 52-week low of Rs 143.70. The current market cap of the company is Rs 10,236.03 crore.
