Ahmedabad, : Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL), a leading Indian transmission and distribution company, has joined forces with UAE-based Esyasoft to fast-track the deployment of smart meters in India and beyond. This strategic partnership marks a significant step for AESL in its quest to revolutionize the energy sector through cutting-edge technology.
The joint venture (JV) between AESL and Esyasoft, with a 49:51 stake split, further strengthens the existing ties between Adani and Abu Dhabi's International Holding Company (IHC). IHC, a major investor in Esyasoft, plays a crucial role in bolstering this collaboration.
The JV will not only address AESL's current and future application software requirements but also actively pursue Indian and international smart meter projects. With a team of 100 experts across India, the UAE, the UK, and Saudi Arabia, the JV boasts extensive experience serving major Indian discoms, Scottish Gas, and prominent UAE utilities.
Esyasoft brings to the table a wealth of experience in cloud and IoT-based energy management solutions. Their robust intellectual property portfolio encompasses smart utility solutions like meter data management, headend systems, peak load management, and big data analytics, making them a valuable partner for AESL.
